What we collect
Datasheet requests
Work email, phone (optional), company, country, your opt-in choice, and request metadata: IP address, browser user agent, page language, referring page, and the campaign or QR code that brought you.
Contact form
Name, company, email, phone, country, enquiry category, subject, product type, message, and any file you attach (JPEG, PNG, WebP or PDF, up to 10 MB), plus your opt-in choice and IP address.
Exhibition visitor form
The exhibition, your name, company, email and/or contact number, WhatsApp number, city, country, office address, business type, the quantities you are interested in, your opt-in choice, IP address and browser user agent.
Browsing
Page views, page leaves, clicks on links and buttons (the label of what you clicked, never what you type into a field), named events for key actions (datasheet requests and downloads, QR code scans, 3D view use), device and browser type and approximate location from your IP address, collected by PostHog without cookies, without storing an identifier on your device and without session recordings. Each visit is counted on its own.
Why we use it
- To deliver the requested document by email and direct download.
- To answer enquiries and route them to the right regional team.
- To follow up with exhibition visitors.
- To understand aggregate site use.
- To keep forms free of spam and abuse using IP addresses and rate limits.
- To send occasional technical updates only if you tick the optional box.
All three opt-in boxes start unticked, and each request asks again. You can withdraw at any time by writing to info@hitechmembranes.com or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send.
Outside services
We use these services to run the site. Each receives only what it needs for its task and may not use your data for its own purposes. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it
IP addresses and browser details on datasheet and exhibition visitor records are deleted periodically once they are more than 90 days old. For the contact form, the IP address is not stored on the record and appears only in our internal notification email.
Datasheet, contact and exhibition records are reviewed after 36 months and deleted unless there is an active business relationship. You can ask us to delete your record sooner. Browser storage lasts as listed in the table above.
International transfers
We work with customers in more than 30 countries. Enquiries may be shared between Hi-Tech Membranes Co., Ltd. and Hi-Tech Membranes to answer them, and PostHog processes analytics in the United States. Other services may process data outside your country. We rely on each provider's data-protection terms for those transfers.
Your rights and data requests
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw marketing consent, at any time. Use the privacy request form or email info@hitechmembranes.com. We will confirm we received it and aim to reply within 30 days.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever this policy changes materially.
