This policy covers hitechmembranes.com, operated by Hi-Tech Membranes Co., Ltd., a reverse osmosis membrane manufacturer based at 700/273 Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate Moo 1, Tambon Bankao, Amphur Phanthong, Chon Buri 20160, Thailand. It explains what personal data we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
What we collect
When you request a datasheet or submit the contact form: your work email, phone number, company name, and country, plus technical metadata attached to the request (IP address, browser user agent, and — where present — the campaign or QR code that referred you). Phone and company are used to route enquiries to the right regional contact.
Automatically, as you browse: page views, device and browser type, approximate location (derived from IP), and on-site interactions, collected via PostHog analytics. This helps us understand which product pages and datasheets are useful.
Stored only on your device: after your first datasheet request, your email, phone, company and country are saved in your browser's local storage so the form can pre-fill on a later visit. This never leaves your device unless you submit the form again.
Why we use it
- To deliver the datasheet or catalogue you requested, by email and direct download.
- To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form.
- To understand aggregate site usage and improve product pages and documentation.
- To send occasional technical updates — only if you tick the optional consent checkbox when requesting a datasheet. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We use two third-party processors to run this site, and share only the minimum data each needs to perform its function: Resend delivers the transactional emails that carry your datasheet download link, and PostHog provides the on-site analytics described above. Neither is authorized to use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep datasheet-request and contact-form records for as long as reasonably needed to support the enquiry and our ongoing sales relationship with you or your company. You can ask us to delete your record at any time — see "Your rights" below.
International transfers
We manufacture and ship to more than 22 countries, and our systems (including Resend and PostHog) may process data outside your home country. We rely on those providers' own data-protection safeguards for any such transfer.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw marketing consent, at any time. Contact us through the contact page and we'll act on your request without undue delay.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever this policy changes materially. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
